We are having a baby BOY!!!!!  We could not be more excited! We went in yesterday for our big ultrasound and our sweet baby boy is happy and healthy, although a bit stubborn already!  He was in a hard position for our ultrasound tech to get all the measurements she needed and he would not move!  She literally had me get up and move around and do some jumps to try to get him to move his head into a better position and he would not do it!  The plus side to that is that we get to do another ultrasound at our next appointment and get to see him again!! I can’t wait! She asked if we wanted to find out what we were having and we said yes, of course, we can’t wait another day!   We were so excited and happy for either a boy or a girl, but we both really though that we were going to have a girl (and so did most of Facebook and Instagram!).  To our excited surprise, she said boy and I immediately teared up!  It was such an exciting, flooding emotional moment to know that forever we are now the parents to a son!  I want to know what he will be like, what he will look like, the funny things he will do, what will make him smile and laugh!  It all hit me at once, and I can’t describe what a good moment that was!  I think it will be so fun to have an older boy in the family.  As the sister of two girls, with no brothers, I’ve always thought it would be so cool to have an older brother.  And Blake is the oldest of his family and watching him with his younger siblings is so sweet and I can’t wait to watch our boy grow up to love and care for his little siblings and for them to have a big brother!

He is still due September 9th and they said health-wise everything looks great, and it looks like everything should go smoothly to get us all the way to his due date!  September seems like a long ways off now that I just want to have him in our arms, but I love that I feel like we can talk and pray more specifically about HIM now and I am trying to soak up every second of this process!

Also, I love seeing how excited everyone is with us!  Thank you all for your kind words and congratulations!  We are so, so excited, and love you all!

  1. I precisely had to thank you very much again. I do not know the things that I would have taken care of in the absence of those techniques contributed by you relating to my concern. It previously was an absolute frustrating difficulty in my view, nevertheless viewing this expert strategy you treated it forced me to leap over happiness. I’m just happy for this information and sincerely hope you know what a powerful job you were putting in training the rest through a blog. I am certain you have never met any of us.

  2. I walk to and from work about a mile and a half. I work nights so when I go to work and leave its prttey quiet. Relaxing too. AND dangerous so keep my wits about me. Ottawa just had a 3 month bus strike so walking was not a choice. Besides you can be halfway home so why wait for one? I suggest runners with insoles, dressing in layers and a knapsack to buy stuff and a waterbottle around your neck. Music am fm too. Walk dont run. You dont get hurt and see more.
