** Sorry about the iPhone quality, we were having too much fun in the moment to keep the camera on us!

About two weeks ago, Blake and I took a last minute getaway to sunny San Diego!  We have been feeling the chills of these late grey, winter days and we were ready to get out and soak up any little sunshine we could!  We brought my camera but were having such a nice time just relaxing together, we really didn’t take it with us all that much.  It was nice to just be in the moment and enjoy it!

We spent most of our day each day laying out by the pool.  We stayed at a cute little boutique inn, right on the beach in Pacific Beach called Pacific Terrace Hotel.  They have this glass wall that surrounds their pool area so it kept any wind out and just made it absolutely perfect for laying out.  We went to a few delicious little SoCal taco shops and fish tacos every day!  We were told we had to try a place called The Baked Bear, they do all homemade, build your own ice cream sandwiches.  I’m afraid if we had one in Boise I would be tempted to go every day!  It was so delicious and smooth and sweet and perfect!

We spent the few days there riding beach cruisers down the boardwalk, hanging on the beach, and people watching.  With all of the baby excitement it was so nice to sleep in, relax and lounge together!  An early baby moon!  Speaking of our little sugar, I have a pregnancy update coming soon.. so keep an eye out for it!

Hope you are all having a great weekend!
